Специализация разных компаний внутри одной отрасли промышленности. Например, в текстильной промышленности одна компания специализируется на производстве дорогих шерстяных костюмов высшего качества, другая - недорогой повседневной одежды. Специализация позволяет компаниям использовать преимущества экономии на масштабах, т.е. сокращать издержки производства, а также удовлетворять потребности потребителей в разных видах продукции. См.
